Avoid the majority of workplace compensation claims associated with personnel falls by utilizing TTP’s fall protection solutions.
What can be done to reduce falls?
It’s simple: employers must take the proper precautions to prevent employees from falling off of overhead platforms, elevated work stations or into holes in the floor and walls. OSHA requires that fall protection solutions be provided at elevations of four feet in general industry workplaces, five feet in shipyards, six feet in the construction industry and eight feet in long-shoring operations. In addition, OSHA requires that fall protection be provided when working over dangerous equipment and machinery, regardless of the fall distance.
A complete personal fall protection solution includes an anchor, a body harness and a connector – such as a shock-absorbing fall arrest lanyard or self-retracting lanyard (SRL).
Gorbel’s Tether Track™ Rigid Rail Fall Arrest Systems provide personnel with an “active means of protecting workers.” This freedom helps significantly with compliance. Superior engineering & design are used to prevent falls even at lower levels. Single space or multiple track profiles and support center distances, allows you to obtain a cost-effective solution for your budget. And looking for something mobile? We have that too. All systems are designed to meet the OSHA 1926 Subpart M construction standard, as well as the ANSI Z359 Fall Protection Code.
